if倒裝句

if clause有些情況用倒裝,例如:

1. Type 1

If you see Nigel, give him my regards.(Type 1)
Should you see Nigel, give him my regards.(Type 1)

2. Type 2

If you were Li Ka Shing, you would do the same thing.  (Type 2)
Were you Li Ka Shing, you would do the same thing.  (Type 2)
3. Type 3

If it hadn't been for your company, I would have felt lonely.  (Type 3)
Had it not been for your company, I would have felt lonely.  (Type 3)



注: Were it not/If it had not/Had it not been your company,可改寫成: But for your company.
