Notes

1.      Present simple tense

Eg. I am a boy.

2.      Present continuous tense

e.g. I am studying S.5 now.

3.      Present perfect tense

e..g I have finished my writing homework already.

4.      Present perfect continuous tense

e.g. I have been learning English since primary school.

5.      Simple past tense

e.g. I studied S.4 last year.

6.      Past continuous tense

e.g. I was listening to music while my mother was cooking.

7.      Past perfect tense

e.g. I had done my homework before I played computer games.

8.      Past perfect continuous tense

e.g. I had been living in Yuen Long for 9 nine years before I moved to Tin Shui Wai last year.

9. Simple future tense

e.g. Mr. Liu will go to Whompoa Military School on this Wednesday.

10.  Future continuous tense

e.g. Mr. Liu will be feeling sad during the 5-day trip because he misses the S.5 students.

11.  Future perfect tense

e.g I will have studied for 6 years of secondary school by 2012.

12.  Future perfect continuous tense

e.g. I will have been studying in CYMCASS for 5 years when the summer holiday comes in 2011.
