indirect speech:如果仲未發生,咁可以用Will. eg. Mr Lee told me yesterday he will return the book to you in a week. 當然可以用WOULD. 但WILL比WOULD更肯定.
indirect speech中的NOW不一定要轉, 因為NOW可以解THEN.
inversion: 倒裝句用於兩個情況, 一係用-ve words開頭, eg. Never have I seen such thing. others: seldom, rarely, hardly, no sooner, in no circumstances. 一係用表示方向,位置的字眼, eg. here, there, up, down, inside, outside. eg. There stood the soldier. 但不可說There stood he.
-ics: 學科, 通常是單數. eg. Mathematics is his speciality. 但若有pronoun. 如his, the,etc, 咁就當複數.eg. his mathematics are poor.
split infinitive無問題. eg to really understand it.
